Jamie Oberman, MD, FACS is a board-certified Otolaryngologist (ENT) with more than 20 years of experience in treating sinus, allergy, ear, nose, and throat conditions. He currently serves as the Medical Director at Frederick Breathe Free Sinus & Allergy Center in Frederick, Maryland.
Professional Background
Dr. Oberman earned his B.A. from Boston College and his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in 1996. He completed extensive training in Pediatrics, General Surgery, and Otolaryngology during his internship and residency at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, VA.
As a retired U.S. Navy medical officer, Dr. Oberman held leadership roles including Otolaryngology Specialty Leader and Advisor to the Navy Surgeon General, guiding more than 80 ENT surgeons worldwide. His distinguished service included recognition as the Navy’s Undersea Medical Officer of the Year (1999) and training in submarine and diving medicine.
He was honored as “Best of Otolaryngology” by Jacksonville Magazine (2011) and later served as an Associate Professor of Surgery at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. Following his Navy retirement in 2017, Dr. Oberman advanced patient experience initiatives at Princeton Health System and later helped establish the first Otolaryngology department for Frederick Health Medical Group.
In 2022, he earned his Executive MBA from Quantic University in Washington, DC, further strengthening his leadership in patient-centered care.
